After downloading your application, you must provide Debbie Kraft with the sheriff's background package. You must return the application and complete a background check to apply for the Seguin County, Texas, County Sheriff's office. The application must be returned to you within 30 days of receipt by the end of March. Once the background check is complete, applications and background packets must also be returned to them within 60 days.

Applications and background packages are available from the Seguin County, Texas, Human Resources Office, Sheriff's Office, and the Public Safety Bureau. Applications can be submitted online at http: / / www.guadalupe.gov / jobs or in person at the Human Resources Office on the second floor of the courthouse at 5100 N. Main Street in Guadalpuisas.


Applications and background packages can be obtained from the Human Resources Department of the Guadalupe County, located at Court 211 W. in Seguin. Applications and packages can also be personally blocked at the Personnel Office on the second floor of the courthouse at 5100 N. Main Street in Guadalpuisas. Applicants with background packages can obtain a request and a background package from a local law enforcement agency such as the Sheriff's Office or the Public Safety Bureau.


Applications can be made to the Human Resources Department at 211 W. Court Street in Seguin or to the Human Resources Office on the second floor of the courthouse. Applications that are not completed online must be sent by Ricky Vasquez, the building maintenance manager, to the maintenance department at 212 W Nolte Attn. The application requires a transfer request and can also be filed by a local law enforcement agency such as the Sheriff's Office or a public safety office, both located near the Personnel Department of the Guadalupe County Courthouse.

Applications can be submitted to the Human Resources Department of the County Administration Building, 711 Main Street, Corpus Christi. A CV alone, which is not sufficient, must be submitted before the position is closed.


The applicant must behave in a manner that meets the requirements of the Youth Welfare Office (DYW) and the District of Guadalupe. You must be able to operate floor cleaning equipment, follow instructions, be self-motivated and a hard worker. Remains able to respond appropriately to work situations and emergencies, including, but not limited to, physical restraint of youth.

Monitoring of living conditions to ensure a clean and safe environment for young people and staff. Observe and monitor the interaction of young people with staff, observe young people in areas that go beyond programming and write written behavioural and incident reports, including, but not limited to, documentation of room controls and daily activities.
